ACCEPTABLE USE
What we will not host, and what we will not police.
A host that claims no limits is either lying or about to be seized. Here is exactly where ours are, and exactly where they are not.
This policy applies to everything hosted on NoDMCAVPS infrastructure, in every region.
Removed immediately, no discussion
- Child sexual abuse material, in any form, including links to it or infrastructure serving it. Accounts are terminated, data is preserved for the relevant authorities and no refund is issued.
- Fraud infrastructure: phishing pages, fake shops, credential harvesting, carding panels and money-mule tooling.
- Malware distribution and command-and-control, including botnet controllers, ransomware infrastructure and exploit kits.
- Spam operations — bulk unsolicited email, SMS gateways for spam, and the list-management tooling behind them.
- Attacks launched at other networks: DDoS, brute-force campaigns, port scanning at scale, and stress-testing services.
- Material that targets a private individual for harassment, or that publishes their personal data to invite it.
- Content that is criminal in the jurisdiction physically hosting it, which is why the region you choose is a real decision.
Not our business
We do not act as a copyright adjudicator. Automated notices about services in safe-harbour regions are logged and closed without action, and without being forwarded to you. We do not run content-matching systems, we do not maintain a hash database and we do not inspect what your disks contain. If a rights holder believes it has a claim, the venue for that claim is a court in a jurisdiction that has us — not our abuse mailbox.
Network conduct
- Open resolvers, open relays and open proxies must be secured — not because of the content, but because they get abused and then attacked.
- Outbound port 25 is closed by default and opened on request after a short conversation about what you intend to send.
- Cryptocurrency mining is permitted on dedicated servers and prohibited on shared-CPU VPS tiers, for the obvious reason.
- Do not attempt to reach other tenants, the management network or the hypervisor. This is the one rule where we assume bad faith immediately.
How reports are handled
Every report reaching the abuse address is read by a person, usually within a few hours. Reports alleging something in the first list above are investigated at once and, if substantiated, the service is stopped the same day. Reports that amount to a copyright complaint about a safe-harbour service are closed. You will hear from us when we take action, and you will not hear from us when we do not — which is most of the time.
