CONTACT & SUPPORT
Ask the people who run the racks.
Support is a ticket queue read by the engineers who operate the network — not an outsourced first line working from a script.
Support at NoDMCAVPS is a ticket queue, not a call centre — and it is read by the people who operate the racks.
Questions worth asking before you buy
The ones we get most often are about jurisdiction rather than hardware: which region suits a particular project, what the difference is between a safe-harbour and a standard location, and where exactly our Acceptable Use Policy draws its line. Ask them. A five-minute answer beforehand is better than a migration afterwards, and we would rather turn a project away than take money for a placement that was never going to hold.
Abuse and legal correspondence
Complaints, notices and legal correspondence go to the abuse address published in the client area and in our WHOIS records. Everything is read by a person. Automated copyright notices concerning servers in safe-harbour regions are logged and closed with no action taken; reports of material prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy are investigated immediately and acted on the same day.
Before you open a ticket
The guides cover most of the recurring ground — how notices are handled in practice, which countries do what, moving a site after a suspension elsewhere, and setting up an offshore origin behind a proxy. If the answer is there you will be running sooner than a ticket would have taken.
