Why ownership decides the outcome
A reseller can write anything it likes in an abuse policy. What it cannot do is override the company it rents from. When a complaint escalates past the reseller, the upstream provider makes the decision, and the upstream provider is usually in a jurisdiction that acts. The customer experiences this as a server that stops existing, with an apology arriving afterwards.
Buying the metal removes that party from the chain entirely. There is no larger provider above us with its own compliance queue and its own risk appetite, which is what makes it possible to say "we file the notice" and have that mean something operationally rather than aspirationally.

What single-tenant actually buys you
No hypervisor between you and the hardware, so no agent of ours runs inside your environment and no neighbour shares your cores or your abuse blast radius. Run your own hypervisor on top if you want — Proxmox and plain KVM are both common here — and carve the machine up however suits you.
IPMI matters more than the specification sheet. Mount an ISO, watch POST, reinstall from scratch, power-cycle a wedged kernel. Recovery never requires opening a ticket, which also means it never requires our cooperation or our office hours. Combined with LUKS unlocked over that same channel, a powered-off machine is a brick to anyone holding it, including us.

Frequently asked
Do you actually own the servers?
Yes. We purchase the hardware and rack it in facilities we contract with directly. It is the difference between a policy we can honour and a policy we can only pass along to someone else.
How long until a server is delivered?
In-stock configurations are usually provisioned the same day. Custom builds are quoted per request through a ticket, and we will tell you honestly if the parts are weeks out rather than letting you find out afterwards.
Can I encrypt the whole disk?
Yes, and on bare metal you should. Bring LUKS and unlock it over IPMI at boot. We hold no key, so the array is unreadable to us as well as to anyone who removes it from the rack.
