A United States copyright notice has no operative effect in Malaysia, and there is no domestic notice-and-takedown timetable to replace it. Malaysian content law is, however, stricter than the European regions on some categories of speech — a real distinction we will not paper over. For distribution and infrastructure workloads it is an excellent placement; for editorially sensitive publishing, Iceland or Moldova is the better answer.
